Tapping appeared behind the camera for one episode of The 100 in Season 6 called Matryoshka.
These connections are always fun for this fan of science fiction to make.
Apart from his seven episodes on Stargate SG-1, Bourne has also appeared on Fringe, Millennium (The Judge; a series with an episode called Matryoshka in S3). He also co-starred along with SG-1's Michael Shanks for The Lost Treasure Of The Grand Canyon (2008).
Interestingly on Stargate SG-1 Bourne played Martouf, a member of the Tok'ra, a people that played hosts to the good guy larvae creatures that fought against the evil Goa'uld.
On The 100 he plays Russell Lightbourne VII, a cult-like leader of a lost human population that is also a proponent of hosting. Though the body-hosting/swapping is more technological than alien but just as perverse.
I know. Crazy stuff. Watch the series yourself. Regardless there are hostings and there is general madness and there is JR Bourne working together again with Amanda Tapping on The 100 for those interested. Be prepared. Alaina Huffman, formerly of Stargate Universe (2009-2011), will be joining The 100 for its seventh and final season.
