Sadly she passed away in June of this year.
Looking back at that wonderful little (...errr BIG) series we find three of the original seven cast members of Land Of The Giants still among the land of the living.
I wanted to pay tribute to this beautiful woman and her contribution to this classic series in preparation for a look back at Land Of The Giants, some of which we will bring to you right here at Musings Of A Sci-Fi Fanatic.
Lund was married to actor Don Matheson following Land Of The Giants for much of the 1970s.
Apart from her two years spent as a cast member on the aforementioned Irwin Allen sci-fi classic, Lund appeared in Batman (1966-1968; Batman's Anniversary/ A Riddling Controversy), The Incredible Hulk (1977-1982; Of Guilt, Models And Murder S1 E5), The Waltons (1972-1981; The Prophecy S4 E4) and starred in the Jerry Lewis comedy Hardly Working (1980). She also starred in a horror film with Dan Haggerty (The Life And Times Of Grizzly Adams) called Elves (1989). Haggerty and Lund, it just screams must see.
The beautiful Lund passed away in June of 2018 at the age of 81.
