Oh man, you're chomping at the bit, aren't you? I'm still on the fence about this one. I guess the last attempt at a full fledged 'zilla movie burned me too much. But I'll wait for your review before I take the plunge. :)

ha. I think I'm going to enjoy it. I'm not over the moon, but I might be after seeing it. We'll see.

I'll do my very best to maintain a spoiler-free review.

I think that Jupiter Ascending looks very interesting as well.

I'm wondering about several new movies, Transcendence being one of them with Johnny Depp, the other Jupiter Ascending too. Also wondering about Edge of Tomorrow with Tom Cruise. We'll see.

Okay, so I have to confess and this is completely my own feeling on the subject.

Depp is a positive bore to me.

I know it has been his life mission to be the supreme actor of the universe and I have seen a few films I have enjoyed enough but generally speaking I find the man overrated.

Transcendence looks like a high tech version of The Lawnmower Man. I'm oversimplifying and being a little funny there.

I have no interest in Transcendence and will likely never see it but I hope you enjoy it.

Edge Of Tommorrow has my interest as well. I love the look of the special effect sin that one. I'm on board for that one.

Jupiter Ascending has me very intrigued and looking forward to it.

Guardians Of The Galaxy - probably.

Not sure what else we are missing. We'll see.

I agree on Depp. I don't actively seek him out, he just happens to be in some films I've enjoyed. He might be too overexposed or made to many lightweight, disposable films. I'm not sure what it is. Still I'm sure he's laughing all the way to the bank... as he's still a bankable actor.

Dawn of the Planet of the Apes may be worthwhile--I have to admit, the earlier reboot Rise Of the Planet of the Apes surprised me and held my attention. I figured that franchise was long over.

Yeah, there's no shortage of Depp movies. Ugh.

The new Planet Of The Apes film was definitely a good movie as CGI movies go.
