Shirley Temple (1928-2014)

She may never have secured a spot on The Little Rascals, but she surely won a place in America's hearts. Shirley Temple (1928-2014). Another American icon and sweetheart gone just shy of Valentine's Day no less. A sweet reminder of innocent days that will likely live on. What can you say? That kid was just too darn adorable for words. Nuff said!

That she graciously left acting on her own, and had no personal problems, is a testament to both her and her generation's values.
