So, up, up and away. It's a bird. It's a plane. It's The Sci-Fi Fanatic BIG 25 Comic Book Films (Featuring Capes, Tights, Masks And Mutations).
19. Hellboy .
14. X-Men .
4. Spider-Man .
Films I considered, but intentionally left off the list because they just weren't good enough include: the silly Howard The Duck , the bloated mis-cast Green Lantern , the gratuitously violent nonsense of Punisher: War Zone , the Brett Ratner-directed X-Men: The Last Stand , Spawn , Spider-Man 3 , Hulk , Superman III , Superman IV: The Quest For Peace , Supergirl , Iron Man , Iron Man 2 , Fantastic Four , Fantastic Four 2: Rise Of The Silver Surfer , Blade: Trinity , Ghost Rider , Elektra , Dick Tracy , The Return Of The Swamp Thing , Jonah Hex and all of the pre-Christopher Nolan Batman films. Sorry Tim Burton fans and yes I thought the Iron Man films were overrated.
The only films I could not move either way on because I haven't seen them are the new Conan The Barbarian , Thor , The Punisher , and X-Men: First Class though I suspect only the latter would make my list.
I'm not entirely convinced The Amazing Spider-Man would make my list or The Avengers despite Joss Wheedon's involvement, but Nolan's The Dark Knight Rises will be there.
